Decaf and mug review

I picked up some Decaf Coffee and a DLC Two-Tone Coffee Mug. The decaf is surprisingly flavorful for a decaf, which was a nice surprise. The mug is good quality, feels sturdy. My only minor issue was the tracking update felt a little slow; it lagged for a day before showing movement. But it arrived within the estimated window, so no big deal. Solid experience overall, just a small point on the tracking.

Loved the Espresso Blend!

Just received my Espresso Blend and it's fantastic! The flavor is so rich and it brewed perfectly in my machine. I'm so glad I tried this one out. Definitely going to shop here again and tell all my friends about it!

Consistent quality, returning customer

I've bought from Dontlag Coffee several times now, and they always deliver. This time I got the Dark Roast coffee, and it was just as good as I remember from my previous orders. The consistency is why I keep coming back. Shipping to California usually takes about 4-5 days, which is perfectly fine. Never had an issue with any of my purchases.

Good value on Starter Pack

As a first-time buyer, I went for the Starter Pack because it seemed like the best deal to try a few blends. The price was really fair, especially with the discount they had going for new customers. It felt like I got a good amount of coffee for what I paid. I was looking for something affordable but good quality, and this definitely delivered on value. Shipping was included since my order was over $50, which helped a lot with the overall cost.

Pretty good coffee experience

So I tried their Medium Roast coffee, just to see what it was like. It was actually pretty decent, nothing super fancy but a good everyday cup. The website was easy to use, no annoying pop-ups or anything. Delivery took a bit, like 5 days to reach Denver, but it got here. Overall, felt like a solid purchase.

Hey guys, thinking of trying out Dontlag Coffee. How long does it usually take for orders to arrive? I'm in NYC, wondering if it's gonna be a super long wait.

R Rosa 2 months ago

Nah, it's pretty quick. I've ordered a few times to Brooklyn and it usually gets to me within 3-5 business days. They ship pretty fast once it's roasted.

Yeah, same here. I think it depends on when you order since they do 'roast to order' sometimes, but even then, it's not like waiting weeks. Got my last one in about 4 days.

Does anyone know if you can stack coupon codes at Dontlag Coffee? Got a 10% off for first order, but also saw a flash sale for 15% off a specific blend.

G Greg 2 months ago

Pretty sure they only let you use one code per order. Tried it myself once with a free shipping code and a percentage off and it only took one.

T Tara Whitfield 2 months ago

Yeah, my understanding is it's usually just one. I always just pick whichever gives me the biggest discount, which is usually the higher percentage off for specific blends if I'm buying those.

Is the 'gamer fuel blend' any good or is it just a marketing gimmick? Like, is it actually different from their other dark roasts or just rebranded?

E Emma S. 2 months ago

It's definitely strong, gives a good kick. I found it smoother than some other high-caffeine brands I've tried. Not just marketing, I felt the difference during long gaming sessions.

I liked it, but I usually go for their Espresso Blend. It's not a gimmick in terms of energy, but flavor-wise, it's a personal preference. Some people swear by it, others prefer the traditional stuff.

Thinking of getting a coffee subscription. Do they let you use a discount code on that, or is it just for one-time purchases?

D Daisy B. 2 months ago

I think you can use a discount on your first subscription order, but not usually on recurring payments. Worth checking their site, I remember seeing something about new subscriber deals.

I used my first-time customer discount on my initial subscription charge, but after that, it's regular price. They do sometimes have subscriber-exclusive deals though, which is cool.

What's their return policy like? Accidentally ordered whole bean instead of ground and I'm wondering if it's a hassle to swap it out.

A Alex Q. 3 months ago

I had to return a mug once cause it came chipped, and it was pretty easy. Just contacted support and they sorted it out. For coffee, I think it has to be unopened?

6

S Sophie Kim 3 months ago

Yeah, they're usually pretty good about returns if you contact them quickly. For coffee, I'm pretty sure it needs to be sealed and unused for them to take it back. Worth a shot though, just hit up their customer service.
